Legacy on Mara Lake

Built of concrete and steel, this seven-storey, 65-suite complex is the only development of its kind in the region. Kensington Riverside Condominiums

This 28-unit concrete redevelopment is located in a private cul-de-sac, facing the Bow River.  Completed in 2005, the renovation allowed for efficient floor plans and front patios with river views.


At the time of its debut in 2003, Taymar’s was Sable’s most ambitious project.  Using the solid concrete and steel construction that is a fundamental charm of the Mission area, the company completely overhauled the mechanical and electrical, and redesigned the building to incorporate a covered entrance, parking level extension and the addition of a Loft floor and elevator.  There were ultimately 46 units in total; 34 1+den or 2-bedroom units and 12 Loft suites.

920 Royal Avenue SW

In 2003 , Sable brought an element of “funky” to the historically prestigious neighbourhood of Mount Royal with their 18-unit project 920 Royal Avenue.  Catering to young, first-time home buyers, the restyle of this property offered innovative design features such as concrete floors and a mid-wall gas fire place to define the interior spaces.  Exterior improvements included newly-installed Stonetile blended with the original brick, to keep with the overall rich feel of the neighbourhood.

Parkview Terrace

Located 2 blocks from Stanley Park, this 24-unit redevelopment included a rooftop patio that offered owners great city views.  In addition, mechanical systems were replaced, electrical upgraded, improvements done to the exterior and common areas.

1809 – 11 Avenue SW

Completed in 2003, Sable transformed this low-rise building into a boutique redevelopment in Sunalta.  Boasting large decks, custom designer cabinetry and open floor plans, this project was quickly identified as providing exceptional value for buyers.

Kitsilano Place

This 20-unit, vintage 1970’s concrete building was completely restyled in 2001.  Interior upgrades included hardwood flooring, maple cabinetry, tile surrounds in the kitchen and bathroom, brand name fixtures, seven-appliance package, and unique design features like a built-in wine rack.

Cameron Heights

Sable’s fifth redevelopment project in Calgary’s inner-city core, Cameron Heights continued the standard and affordability on which the company built its reputation.  This five-storey, 24-unit concrete building just steps from trendy 17th Avenue SW, offered people an alternative to renting.  The renovation included mechanical, electrical, heating, landscaping, exterior enhancements, contemporary interior finishings, a paved parkade, new windows and roof.

Royal Terrace

In 2001, Sable transformed a 1930’s apartment building into a 15-unit condominium complex comprised of 1 and 2-bedroom suites.  Located in Lower Mount Royal, close to restaurants and shops, and where the average home cost $2.5M, Sable sought to bring affordability and lifestyle amenities to first-time home buyers.  The building was reconditioned and modernized but kept some heritage elements, such as oak hardwood floors, in order to maintain the building’s character.

Riviera Place

Sable’s second condominium conversion was in-line with the company’s vision for redeveloping prime inner-city neighbourhoods.  Being located in the Mission district offered buyers walking access to shops and restaurants.  Being built of concrete offered buyers a solid investment opportunity.

The Pillars

Sable undertook this seven-storey 1970’s building redevelopment in 1999.  Located in the Connaught district, steps to shops and eateries located on 17th Avenue, the location and price point appealed to renters looking to purchase in a neighbourhood that offered walkable lifestyle.
